The wind buffeting in the new supra is downright awful. The way that this cockpit is designed along with the windows shape provides the perfect combination for wind buffeting. There are numerous companies making anti-wind buffeting kits out there, all of them cost more than $150..for two tiny pieces of plastic or carbon..

I knew there had to be another option..and there is.

The main objective: disturb the wind before it reaches the window and cockpit. I found these door guards online that are gloss black so they will match the base of the mirrors, and they have a slight angle to them, forcing the air to send away from the window. They also have a adhesive on one side, to adhere to the base of the mirror. FOR $8.99!

These are what I used:

First, you will notice there is a white logo on them (We don’t want that) you receive four in this pack, you only need two. And it just so happens that two of them are all black without a logo. You could also polish the white off if need be, its just ink.

You will want to line these up with the edge of the mirror base. You’ll need to cut one of the ends off in order for this to fit, simple enough.

I would wipe down the surface with some isopropyl before applying, this will ensure of a nice clean contact point for the adhesive.

Congrats, you just solved an $150 problem for $8.99. Now go drive.
